@Tejx2 That is why you go on a show like this... to lose weight and be healthier. i was 235lbs when i started. say w/e u want but it takes a lot to do what i did and i am extremely proud of myself. (and most people on this game are prolly living the same lifestyle i was before i made this change)

All I can say is, if you are that large, get the hell off FFXI, or w/e you are playing and do something productive. At the end of the day, FFXI is a game. No one in the outside world cares about killing A.V, camping HNM's. I can honestly say, I am glad to say I have moved on from FFXI. I played it since N.A release. 40 pounds later, I realized it was just a game. Kudos to you for realizing the same thing. But you are looking for 15 minutes of fame because you became fat because you play video games? Clearly, I am missing something here.

If you are truly happy being fat and playing FFXI, more power to you. But, you can't honestly tell me you didn't expect people to have an opinion that differs from your own. Your "husband" was bragging about having man-***, and you expect a bunch of hoopla because you are going on a show to tell the world, "I am fat and play video games, Aren't you proud of us!?!?!?". Makes ZERO sense to me.

That post was in such poor taste that I am actually shocked that someone posted it on this site.

I'm 5'10 150 lbs and I play ffxi.

I also watch what I eat and try to incorporate movement into my daily life, for example I walk 20mins to school everyday, and 20 mins back, do simple pushups and situps every night, and go for walks/jogs when I feel like it.

I wish there was a game show for me to win something. I don't know what I'd be on for though :<

i made mistakes and let my weight get out of hand. yes that is 100% the truth. i gained 100lbs in 5-6 yrs. i was fat, i was huge. but the opportunity came to me to train with professionals and have a great nutritionist. i was given a wonderful opportunity and i took it.. so it was on TV.. and? i really dont see so much wrong with that. posting a video OMG SHES HUGE> duh the sky is blue. but u talk of posting something thats poor taste.. just trying to make a better life for myself and i dont regret a second of it =)

I just don't see how a persons opinion is bad taste. I bet if I were praising you on your T.V appearance, You would be all giddy and what-not. You lost weight, Good job. I guess that's what you want? Simply put, if FFXI (or w/e game you are playing still) is making you so miserable, why do you still play said game? Oh, I get the whole, "IT'S FUN! WE ARE BADASS ON THIS GAME!!!". I get that, I honestly do, but again, said game made you gain alot of weight. So w/e game is more important to you than your health? Or am I missing the whole point?

They lost weight (and possibly won the prize), they have fun playing the game with each other, they get stuff done, if they can balance out both, why sway them otherwise?

I'm not trying to sway them anyway. Her and her soon-to-be husband wanted to let the world know, they are large people, and got large because of a video game. You don't see the issue here? As I said before, people have opinions. Mine clearly differs from hers (and yours, I guess?).

I'm not even a particularly big fan of them either. They were nice to me when I did a Nyzul with them once though back on Remora. We even laughed at how it took Narse like 45 minutes to gear his DRK.

Flionheart, Lol. I promise ya, I am not mad. I just don't understand how Bywhatthefuckever can be angry because I have an opinion. No one is making her read it, or reply to it for that matter lol.

I've only partied with Narse once, and that was a mana-burn.

He seemed nice and not arrogant which surprised me.

And to Luz, I don't know either of these people. I spoke to Byo like 3 times while I was on Shiva. Didn't seem like a bad person, per se. She never got out wrong with me about anything.

I could care less if she is fat, or Megan Fox hot. The point is, two people got fat by playing FFXI, they go on T.V, lose a little weight, want the entire FFXI world to sing thier praise, and go back to exactly what made them fat in the first place. She wants a "FFXI wedding", well, isn't FFXI what made you fat in the first place? One with any type of logic would think, "Het this game made me fat, I should probably get as far away from it as possible because I did lose weight". But no, she wants to get right back into the swing of things after thier 15 minutes of fame. Do you not see the logic in what I am saying?
