We're talking about the gun.
7 mins maybe if you get really lucky on the pop item, and red proc on the first NM. I've had it take up to 35 mins to get one pop for the KI NM then not have a red !! trigger because it's something like Freezebite.
Maybe I'm just really unlucky because it seems to take at least 45 mins every single time I try to build a set due to stuff like this.
I've taken 15 min on thf just to get a wing to pop the fly.
Took us forever to get the scales for Baba Yaga, Wings dropped like hotcakes for us. :(
to be honest you're really only missing...2 red procs as nin/war? 3 if you dont have the event polearm...very good chance that you wont get screwed that often. As for pop item costs...just buy em before you head out. they're fairly cheap

i havent used an ebow since june 26th 2007. And flip's not going crazy, i observed it too and felt like i was losin it too! brought it up real recently on ls chat if flippy remembers! it had to be a very recent change since you tested cavaros using ranged attacks, and that didnt come out long ago

Get the lvl 85 bow, you can't use ws at 80 :).

Hey guys, just got my Gandiva tonight and was wondering if you could give me some advice. This is currently the set I'm aiming for.
I don't have Aias/Haidate yet and looking at getting those later this week. In the meantime I'm using AF3+2 in those slots. I'm also trying to look for a Brave Grip and a Gatta Grip, neither seem to be on sale often though. I imagine Gatta Grip might win outside of Abyssea and Brave inside.
When /nin I am looking to use 2 Yataghan Crit DMG+ daggers, or should i stay with Vulcan's and grip?

outside your sets fine inside if drop the bonnet and legs for af3+2 and stick a ranged attack mantle and hands on. I currently use brave inside and gatta grip outside. Boots, body, neck, waist, rings and staff all looking good to me :D
Thats my current set looking at getting a Clearview earring for 1 ear slot atm
In addition to the sizeable fSTR advantage the sylvan glovelettes +2 have over blood finger gauntlets they offer more ranged attack and store tp. Personally i would use them over BFG.

My Jishuu Set.
This WS is why you bring RNG as a DD to abyssea. Its amazing. Its what RNG needed to be able to keep up with the other crit WS jobs. Especially with Gandiva aftermath when I'm seeing double shot criticals for both 1k each.

My current Jishnu build is pretty solid (I have most permutations of just about everything being suggested here.), but I was curious does the atma of the griffon's claw work for jishnu's or does it only work for the 2 handed weapon equipped?
