Obviously anything not shown here is gears that I don't have for WAR that increases INT and MAB, except my WAR AF1 head, but I don't wana take it out of storage....

Anyone have any ideas what I can fill the other areas with that a WAR can equip that has INT and/or MAB on it?

inb4lolboraaxe, because I have done pleanty of 1k+ WSs in Abyssea (the only reason why I have axe/sword is for skillups only, I don't plan on using axe/sword for important ***, its just for skilling up in exp parties only) and I find that Bora Axe > Rampage most of the time.

So, what do you guys think?

Despite appearances, Bora Axe is a dex modded physical WS, so pretty much the item set doesn't apply at all.

well, you better tell everyone that.

According to Wiki Bora Axe is STR and INT mods. I also heard that MAB has a huge effect on damage, which I'm inclined to beleve since it is an ice element WS, and ice elements use INT and MAB for damage calculation.

Plus, everyone I asked said that Bora Axe uses INT and MAB on it, and you are the first person who said DEX. Do I believe 99 people saying INT/MAB or 1 person saying DEX?

Wiki is way way way behind on the new ws.

Either way how about you go out and test it yourself. It's magical so the numbers will be consistent on low lvl mobs

You trust Gobli because they actually know how to test for this kind of stuff. They don't even have mods or skillchain properties listed on the wiki and you trust anything they have written there?

Also, Bora can MISS, which makes it definitely not a magical ws.

Thanks.

Anyways until yesterday wiki only said this about Sanguine blade- Modified by INT and MND, though the exact formulas are, as of now, are unknown.

When int isn't even a wsc and str is as well. And of course MAB works on it too

Stuff like Goten/Kagero/etc... can yeah but those also have extra special rules on them and are more heavily based on physical stats (weapon dmg, str, etc...) unlike magical ws's.

meh, I did a mini-test (one weaponskill with INT heavy gears and one weaponskill with STR heavy gears) and found that STR did about 300 more damage than INT....

guess people need to stop putting worthless info on wiki then -.-

thanks anyway for your help guys
