proper capitalization grammar a forced moderate perspective and generally sticking to what you know go a long way
A lot of it actually comes from being a GM when I was young. When you're forced to use proper capitalization and grammar, even in such things as /tells and IMs, (or be fired as unprofessional), hitting shift and period, etc, becomes muscle memory. You don't even have to think about it anymore, and it actually becomes unnatural
not to type that way.

Do you live in Mountain View? ^^
(I live in San Jose. Don't worry...no knives or cinder blocks coming your way if you say "yes".) :p
No, I live in San Diego, at Playdom South. Although I'm frequently in Mountain View.
If I'm not jammed with work while I'm up there, I'm always open to meeting new folks. I've met a number of people from this site in RL, and I'm pretty much the same way here as I am in person. =p

Jaerik/Scragg (if he ever stumbles upon this topic), what sort of education/degrees/whatnot do you guys have that let you know how to take on such massive projects as this site, and whatever you do in your real work environments?
I have two bachelor's in computer science and Japanese, an equivalent in electrical engineering, and a minor in psychology.
Ultimately, the degrees only serve as a way to get your foot in the door, though. Once you get your first job, it's your work experience and reputation that determine everything from that point forward. For example, Cliff is entirely self-taught, and rode quickly up the industry ladder on smarts and coding talent alone.
