To whom it concerns,   It is obvious posts towards characters are not screened for content by your website. This is not appropriate code of conduct by the webmaster. I am writing to inform you that comments posted towards the character "Flux" by the character "Ravenfornow" are totally inappropriate and requested to be removed ASAP. I do not appreciate the language or tone of the comments, and furthermore ffxiah.com is not a forum for private in game matters. There are GM's for such situations such as relations between players for resolution. Please removed the derogatory comments ASAP. I am not a subscriber to ffxiah.com nor a member and do not post on this website for any reason. Your action is requested. Thank you for your time.   -Flux

Huh? There are tons of private matters discussed in this forum and many others related to the game. Its called freedom of speech and people can and will use it where ever they please. No character was defamed by the aformentioned comment so seriously whats the big deal?

So, I'd tell them to verify and then they can remove it themselves.

While the FFXIAH forums are moderated, they are not done so to the point of extreme censorship (or so it seems to me at least). A request to censor by removal of a post due in this case seems way out of line. The comment quoted in the OP should be left as is, wherever it currently resides. "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it."

As Flux has stated, there are GM's in game that handle Player Relations, and online conduct. There are guidelines that have been set forth about how to conduct yourself while on these forums. Jaerik layed them out here:

Oh for goodness sake. People say '***' in the real world all the time. Perhaps Flux has never stepped outside his/her house? If he/she does not like something on his page, then he can bloody well take the initiative to verify his character and remove it himself. Scragg and Jaerik are not responsible for every single person who uses this site and all their petty problems. Tell him to grow up.
