You can see the items that I am debating about swapping in too there. Oshosi Head and Mummu Hands should be better? But just felt worse on Arebati v20, as unscientific as it is. May add them back in and try again. Figure v25 will give a large enough sample size to compare.

Just something I noticed, your sets are pretty light on DT especially with including Begrudging Ring, If ring is giving you +5% crit rate, you're canceling out your entire cape. Empy legs is a great piece to pick up dt, and I'd go as far as to say empy hands would be worthwhile over both pieces to pick up another 10 dt at +2,11 at +3 and gives the 1% empy proc as a small bonus. V20 that raaz hurt, but if you're not having issues with the raaz I guess it's not that big of a deal.

I do have a DT override toggle in my LUA (much like Cure DT sets fot healers), but seldom have had to use it. On v20, since we did not have such great shooting DT gear a year ago, I actually ran Relic for the first 20% while also building up Hovershot, and switched to Empy at 77-78%. That way when add spawned it actually went to the COR, and then the BRD was able to isolate the add and kite it downstairs while the RNG focused on keeping up DPS and did not have to be concerned with getting any aggro at all. Also allows for a slightly later Caper use to really make it a simple fight.

DT override consists of Empy Hands, Legs, D Ring, and Cape for 44 PDT.

For v25, I am not too certain how we will approach it. We have not decided to attempt Arebati yet, but yeah, DT might be required for all if the adds are allowed to just run wild. Relic strat may still be valid though if the extra regen prolongs the fight enough that a later caper is required.

Has anyone done testing on the best combo for AM3 Double Shot? Seems difficult to decide what to prioritise.

For last stand.. amini caban +3 when you arent attack capped, ikenga's vest when you are attack capped, nyame mail when attack capped and at 3k tp (or amini again for the higher agl and pdl..)?

Curious about some Hot Shot disparities between my COR and RNG.

I run Odyssey B seg farms on COR a lot lately and on most mobs that are neutral, I'll do around 40k Hotshots with just me and the BRD as buffers, no GEO. On fire weak mobs I'll do 60k or so, and on fire weak mobs that are also pierce weak like the big birds, I'll even hit 75k+ most of the time. Insane damage, which I am loving.

The problem is, when I switch over to RNG, I do horrible Hot Shots. On those same mobs I will do closer to 15k/30k/40k, basically less than half of what my COR does. Both are using Fomalhaut R15 and virtually the same gear for WS across the board. You should be doing almost the same, since RNG would have higher attack/pdl and you are probably not capped on COR too.

More than likely it's a gear swapping issue. Type //gs debugmode and check if there are problems with equipping gear and what set is equipping for hotshot.

Make sure the name of your Hot Shot set is correct when doing the above. It's case sensitive.

See what it equips. You might be equipping a set that you don't have properly defined in the lua. For example, a ...['Hot Shot'].Acc set or something similiar.

Had this exact issue in the past actually with Hot Shot. I was using Hot Shot for SCing on Ongo I think it was, and to prevent missing, I configured a .Acc set for Hot Shot that was used strictly to land for SC purposes, not damage. Unfortunately I didn't realize I was forcing a "match" between my TP mode and WS mode. Outside of this setting, I was getting lower numbers than expected. It was because while I was in .Acc TP set, it was matching my .Acc WS set if defined. I didn't have other .Acc WS sets, so they weren't experiencing the same issue.

I've checked both showswaps and equipviewer, all gear is swapping in every time. One of the other RNG friends actually refuses to use any addons, so he doesn't use a lua at all. He uses in-game macros and equipsets, and has the exact same issue with RNG as the rest of us.

The .Acc modifier on sets is interesting, because I do use those, but I never change any of my sets during Odyssey, Sheol B is a joke and I run my default gear. Again, I have checked to make sure the proper stuff is swapping in, just pointing out that it's not an issue since I removed 'Match' from all my luas a long time ago. After I started running COR for statues in Dynamis and realized I wanted a special ws set, but different tp set and it's easier to manually choose every time.

From personal experience, my potential issue aside, do you guys actually do similar dmg with hybrid ranged ws on both jobs or even more on RNG? Because for the life of me I can not and have no idea what is happening. Theoretically, RNG should be doing more, absolutely not HALF.

Everything else with RNG is fine. TF is great, Last Stand is Last Stand, but it's definitely better on RNG than COR. It's just Hot Shot specifically. I pretty much never do Wildfire though, so maybe I should test that and make sure it's not different as well.

COR has 14 more base MAB and there is that difference on necks and boots too, but that mab advantage shouldnt be more than +10-15% damage. Now if you are at capped attack, RNG has PDL trait advantage of +0.2 and +10% on neck, which pretty much should nullify all the mab advantage on COR.

Wildfire would be higher damage on COR, since it's not hybrid, but magic WS non based on ratt at all, so COR has same MAB advantage with RNG having nothing to counter them.

are you set to run 60fps? I would always crash using this plugin while I was set to "60 fps" never found a workaround for it.

Crashed with the plug in as well quite often. Some fights like Kei were a guaranteed crash it seemed, and had it occur on some Odyssey T1 we were farming RP on and never used it since. A crash on Arebati would be quite unfortunate. Worked great otherwise though.

Yeah, I do play with 60fps and if playing in 30fps is required that's a nope from me haha.

Messing around with Fail-Not. Anyone have a current Apex Arrow target set? Is it basically just Last Stand set with swapping Fotia Belt out for a different choice? (which would be what, Kwahu Kachina +1?)

Also curious if people have run into situations where switching to Apex Arrow and bow was worth it. I'm thinking specifically about high def mobs and perhaps less than optimal buffs/debuffs, where Apex's ignore defense may come in handy. Or is it a futile effort, and better to just stick with Marksmanship (or the occasional niche use case for Flaming Arrow)?

I guess my thought on Apex Arrow was to see whether there is any practical use on particularly high defense mobs, especially if you don't have max buffs, since it's RNG's best "ignores defense" option. Would be niche for sure, but maybe some specific use cases? For example, maybe in a Sheol Gaol NM fight where you don't have all of BRD COR GEO. Or IDK whether any Sortie targets might be high enough defense to make Apex a consideration.

RNG's only other ignores defense options are Split Shot and Piercing Arrow, both of which are considerably worse than Apex. Apex gets 4x damage and ignores defense, and gets the Fail-Not augment buff from being the associated WS. Split/Piercing also probably have worse TP mods (0%/35%/50% at 1000/2000/3000tp); Apex's TP mods aren't even shown on BG, which just lists 1000tp as 15% def ignored, and ??? for 2000 and 3000 tp. Anyone know those?

Anyway I might be searching for a niche that doesn't exist, just trying to test out some creative uses for Fail-Not and messing around with Archery.

Is your pdif/food/ML always the same when you switch jobs around?

(Fyi in different pt pdif is rarely identical because everyone has different playstyle)

If you are doing more potent rolls/CC on chaos when you are on COR but the other guy isn't doing same level of buff potency then you will see damage differences with the same gears and job.

Also does anyone have a Gandiva AM3 midshot set specifically for Arebati (v25)?

Currently doing testing of my own in game just would like a set to compare.

The only ability/trait that i know works seperately is tranquil heart, everything else iirc just applies gear enmity, though apparently stealth shot is seperate, and camo is unknown
