If I went back to Germany (I think that's where I'm from) I probably would not be treated very nice. Plus I can't support a country that takes soccer seriously.

The cracks are starting to show in the GOP

Unfortunately I think this is a little optimistic on your part.

They've got the run of the place for another year at the very least and let's be honest; the weaker Trump gets the better it suits the mainline GOP's purpose.

Well he is definitely trending downward.

According to the aggregate polling? His favorability is only trending downward slightly. Obama had a YUGE drop in his first year, although to be fair he started off more favorably. Most of Obama's second term had worse rating than Trump has right now, though.

Soccer just needs a few tweaks to become a good sport.

1. Let them be able to hit each other.
2. Have them wear padding.
3. Take the soccer ball shape and taper it on both ends.
4. Instead of kicking, have them hold the ball or throw it.
5. Line the teams up after each play.

Actually... if you're looking from the point of Inauguration Day onward, he's actually up in favorability 0.6%. Sooooo what was your point again?

You forgot this:

6. Rename the sport "Mixed Martial Basketball"

Does anyone here support Trumps attempt to issue this travel ban? If so would you mind explaining why you do?

Because middle eastern muslims don't assimilate very well into western values, and a significant percentage of them eventually wage some form of jihad on the west.

You are the one that just said he is trending downward, you have to make up your mind here. According to Gallup he started at an even 45/45 approve/disapprove and now he is at 43/52. Fastest President to ever surpass 50% disapproval. Took him a week. Some people never went that low.
He is sucking, everything he says and does is negative. He could have fixed his immigration mess weeks ago but now he is going to let it drag out for at least another month why? Because he wants to fight. And it doesn't make us safer at all.

Boy, are you going to have a conniption fit when people do the same thing about Obama's term

Welp, Obama had a 59% disapproval rating on 1/19/17, the final week of his term.

Time to write him off as a bad president, according to Vic.

He can't. Even I see that it's a logical leap to even state it.

Something not uncommon around here, apparently.

Meh, I misread the table.

Let me make a correction: 57% Disapproval (10/10/14) rating, which, again, by your standards, make Obama a bad president.

Favorability and approval are different metrics. Approval starts at the start of the presidency, so the aggregate trends are not established on RCP until later on when there is more data. I was initially looking at favorability from the start of year, but figured it would make more sense to see his progress from inauguration.

On a side note, you don't do yourself any favors cherry-picking the pollster that gives Trump one of the worst ratings. There's a reason I look at aggregates.

No, those aren't my standards. A low point 5 years into a Presidency is in no way comparable to Trump's lows a week into his. And really, does anyone think he has reached his lowest point yet? Does anyone think he is going to even have a high point?

As long as the Democrats have nothing better to offer, it's pretty much irrelevant.
