On a character with only GEO,SMN,BRD,WHM would I only be aiming for refresh and DT augments with this campaign? Can't think of anything else it could offer besides an absurd BP Damage merlinic hands augment.
Pretty much, the most relevant DM-only augs are refresh,DT,QA, TA (on stuff like valorous that can't get it off stones),phalanx+, WSD (up to 10) and TH. For mages jobs it's pretty much only refresh, DT and maybe TH.

Technically speaking offensive mages could care about the boost MAB/MBB/macc ones if you get really lucky too. But really there is no aiming in this throw your stuff in and hope to get something useful. I like using spare pieces for this

that's awesome that's a useful piece to get that on too I got a int4 macc/matt8 burst15% on feet, but it's like.. blu empy feet, nin af+3 feet so like only use I could see is like RUN lunge burst lol. note: it seems that when burst -does- roll with this campaign it's always the max 15%? It's probably the 3rd 15% burst piece I've seen, never seen a 12/13/14

It's still nice having TH+4 on w/e jobs.
For rdm I did TH+ on hands/legs so I can get th+4 and just tossed it in my dia set. (relic hat, wkr or relic+2/3 feet, empy body so no overlap) - I guess if I got regal cuffs I'd have to compromise. Other jobs you could add TH+ on head or body since you dont have to worry about jse, just keep wkr feet. Offline

I got Spell interruption rate down +9% on Colada. Its nice to have alternatives for 102% set. :)
DEX 9, ATT/ACC 15, Crit damage 2, quadruple attack 3 on Herc Helm.

When you magic burst using burst affinity > whatever spell, this helm will enhance the dmg yes.

Clarification on my statement: when you burst affinity > whatever spell and magic burst (lets say induration > magic burst spectral floe), the magic burst % gear applies. Offline
Basically what I said. If you see the message Magic burst! In the chat log Magic burst dmg applies except I think breath attacks.
What it is actually doing it and setup up don't matter if you bursted you bursted and you get the bonuses that apply to bursting. Be it blu spells with BA, other magical dmg spells, swipe/lunge, or pet moves. It's just breath attacks that don't get the dmg bonuses Why do these augments always appear on the wrong gearset and job? /cry clearlyamule said: » Because you still use photobucket Lulz. Perhaps. |
