Yeh it's a hedgehog. No idea what the difference between a hedgehog and a porcupine are, but I know what an echidna is!
What do baby echidnas look like though? Don't they have a pouch? Which would mean they're born stupidly small, white and blind. While they may look a little like a tiny naked mole rat at first, I'm sure there's a stage where they're half grown where they're a bit cuter. :p

It's crazy how ugly Echidnas are until they're grown. They're still my favourite animal by a long shot, though :)

Those Extra adds come up every now and again in my 3D animation course. They're really memorable adds, cute and interesting, but really simple animation and minimal camera tracking. You could probably knock over one of those adds in a week including filming time, maybe less considering they use the same models each time.
I once emailed Wrigley's to see if they'd do plush toys of the models, although im not sure if Wrigley's would have the rights to them?

Well I'm still a student, nobodies ever paid for any of my work, but I'd assume Wrigleys own the rights to them when they paid to have them on their ad. It'd be pretty bad form for the guy that did their animation to turn around and sell the same ***to their competitors, which is exactly what any smart person would do if they were able to keep the rights to that sorta thing.
Could be wrong, just seems logical... anyway, I'ma stop derailing now.
