I had a friend I did missions, quests, and campaign with so that made it much more enjoyable. He could be Xavier from X-Men lol. Or you could disguise your wheelchair as a speeder and do this
I consider rank missions and Zilarts like an introduction mostly, they're not really that awesome but they introduce you to all the concepts of the lore.

I'm sooo excited for SoA :< was backreading the vanafest thread earlier while looking for the Siren concept art and I noticed I'm still as exicted as I was then.
never did finish Wotg :/
a fight or 2 left... but it was nice how they mixed it up with individual nation stories, and gave you that sense of peril as you delved further into it. Windy's story made me sad and shed a tear. TOAU was great, if you didnt spam Enter to skip CS' that is... but there was too much CS to actual.. action missions :/ CoP, felt Blah. felt too long and it got annoying midway trough it, like, if it had some filler... honestly, felt like where where some holes in the story, or it was just lack of attention. "wait, im supposed to be looking for someone in Beaucidine? who is this guy again? who is this npc that keeps showing up? WRY do we need to do this again? ZM...was a lil boring :x I spam enter and confirm in other games but in 11 and 14 I always read carefully so I don't miss a bit of the story.
YouTube Video Placeholder No goddamn wonder "newer" anime has been sucking in diversity these days. Depends on what kind of gamer he is. If he enjoys putting all the attention on the endgame, gear farming etc, then sure go ahead, however, all of the rest has kinda disappeared. I would highly suggest doing at least the missions each at the corresponding level, if anything to experience that part of the fun we had back then, because going at 99 and oneshotting X boss is really not as inspiring. And also I would encourage exploration, I loved running around discovering new places when I was a low level newbie. The 4-2 Ouryu fight is insanely fun to solo as a level 64RDM/32WHM. It was also challenging. It took me, a 9 year FFXI veteran, 2 tries. I would also say that it's not possible for any other job at that level. It was my only job and Raubahn is a *** to beat as your first 75 cap fight. always thought the lvl 30 melee armor looked awesome.. black leather with copper highlights, usually used more while climbing the crags during 30 cap.
Brigandine was my love.
Eisen!
Felt like that set looked too good to be an armor that early that you can use. You never give the nice looking armor early c.c! Abyssea had just come out when I hit 70. I've only been playing like 4 years tops over three characters.

I'm not sure if i'm just getting too old for this, or if horror movies are really getting more HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE every year ~~

also loved how the Eisen looked. had a set of both on a mule <3 As the years progress, it just feels as if we're getting too attuned to horror movies to actually make them scary anymore. Seeing the same "bad guy killing" or "terrible curse or place to be in" type of movies, just gets too repetitious and therefore not scary.
