I really have only one problem with English dubs, but it's a big one because it involves two of my all-time favorites.
Faye Valentine and Myōjin Yahiko have the same female English voice actor.
And the actor does a pretty good job of giving each their own voice, but on occasion...you can tell.
It makes it very difficult to enjoy Faye in her glorious, awkward entirety when she sounds like a little boy.

I feel the same about the early Tenchi works too, but that's probably more nostalgia because both language versions are pretty awful.

Goes back to the native ear, really.
It's why -- at least at one point in history, maybe not as much now -- you shouldn't buy Japanese stereo equipment to listen to heavy Western music, because it was designed for the Japanese ear/sound/music and couldn't carry the low end as well.
Also, even with death and time chamber shenanigans, he's 40 something years old. :|

reading the news since the pokego release has been awesome. kids getting robbed forcing police to give press conferences where they say things like;

On the plus side, it's making some of the nerds who otherwise wouldn't get out and exercise!
Officer Jenny was proven incompetent when she stopped Ash from transporting an injured Pikachu to the Pokemon Center in like episode 2 because she thought he stole a severely injured Pokemon.

God damn, I love this ship. The Molecular Deconstruction Beam does so much damage it pretty much one-shots any enemy that isn't a boss, and even against them it hits for ~50% of their health.
