Too bad our generation has been socially dumbed down via the internet. At least letters have a far more personal touch than text messages, instant messengers and whatnot do.
But I'm a sucker for hearing long distance success stories. Makes me happy that (as corny as it sounds) love can prevail despite limitations and obstacles including distance.
Distance can be the enemy to relationships. It also helps build communication, which is needed for a good, long lasting relationship.
